Renovation and Addition of an Accessible washroom at the Snow Road Community Hall

The main objectives of this project are to to foster greater accessibility for our community; to meet community and user needs; and to promote good asset management planning. This will satisfy requests from community for accessible washrooms and provide an exceptional service for our residents who are in a very low median household income. This project involves hiring a contractor (via the Townships Procurement Policy) to purchase materials and complete renovations and add an addition to the existing washrooms at the Snow Road Community Hall to made them accessible for all members of our community. Accessibility is very important to encourage a healthy social life to the many residents and visitors who use the facility. Will also provide effective, efficient and sustainable delivery of services for our residents. The Snow Road Community Hall is the hub of the community. The hall serves communities throughout North Frontenac and surrounding municipalities. This will greatly enhance use for all users in our small rural municipality. This project will make the facility usable for all residents and visitors to North Frontenac Township and the surrounding area and will provide a sense of pride to our community. This project will help to ensure long term sustainability of the building.
