Renovation and Expansion of a Recreation Facility and its Grounds

The project objectives include: -Improve access, quality and safety to indoor and outdoor recreational programming at the Palmerston & District Community Centre -Meet Hockey Canada and Ontario Recreation Facilities Association guidelines and standards regarding dressing room quantity and their sizes The project works include: -renovate and merge existing undersized arena dressing rooms -construct additional right-sized arena dressing rooms -upgrade old lighting on one of the existing baseball diamonds with efficient LED lighting -create a third, simple baseball diamond with backstop fencing and stone dust or Marco clay infield (no lighting or outfield fencing) These projects will help better serve the non-profit Community sports groups that use our baseball diamonds and arena ice surfaces including but not limited to Minto Minor Ball, Palmerston Marlins baseball Club, Minto Minor Hockey, Palmerston Junior Broomball and local figure skating clubs.
