Renovation and Expansion of Café and Meeting Rooms at Community Living North Halton

• The project will renovate the existing café and meeting room facilities at the Community Living North Halton building in Milton, Ontario. Community Living North Halton is a not-for-profit organization that provides programs and support for persons with disabilities. • The work will involve: o Replacing existing carpet that has reached the end of its serviceable lifespan with commercial vinyl; o Replacing old light fixtures and add new ones in meeting spaces; o Updating washrooms; o Enlarging the social enterprise café meeting area; and o Re-painting the meeting areas. • The project will improve access to and quality of community infrastructure by enabling the organization to offer more space for programming and meetings in their social enterprise café and meeting rooms, and to ensure that these spaces are updated. This will increase the number of people and organizations utilizing the space, leading to increased interaction and social inclusion within the community.
