Renovation and Rehabilitation of the Elora Community Centre with an Arena

The project will rehabilitate, renovate and expand the Elora Community Centre to improve its accessibility, increase its longevity and expand the utility of the space for new recreation, leisure and culture programming all of which will both increase the number and range of clientele. The scope of work for this project includes: - The replacement of the arena floor, board and glass and refrigeration equipment; - Create and build for accessibility: a front entrance, dressing rooms with showers, viewing areas, washrooms, doorways and corridors; - Renovate office space for additional programming staff; - Install an emergency generator, build a mechanical room and build an ice resurfacer room. The project will result in improved accessibility to recreational infrastructure for people with disabilities and will also permit increased services to all segments of the population, in particular youth and seniors.
