The work also includes demolition and construction of new walls and ceilings, electrical systems, plumbing, lighting and flooring, construction of a new kitchen / dining area, activity / community gathering space, and computer technology lab. The project will enable continued community services programming for an average 3,000 individuals / year which includes seniors and parents of at-risk youth in Regent Park, additional employment-based programming, and provide for an increase in the number of homeless or precariously-housed individuals served in the space.
