Description
Description | The works consist of the renovation and modernization of the premises on the 11th floor of the Honoré-Mercier hospital to allow the creation of a new 20-bed medical unit inside 11 rooms, as well as the creation of a intervention and short hospitalization unit (UIHB) which will include 12 beds in 11 rooms. The two units will share a central guard post with a pharmacy, a kitchenette, a rolling stock room, meeting rooms and a dirty and clean utility. This isolation technique avoids cross-contamination from one room to another and protects staff and customers in a pandemic situation. A ventilation system will also be installed there in order to depressurize all the rooms and reduce the spread of the virus and have better control over the pandemic. The project will support pandemic response and economic recovery, notably by maintaining and upgrading health infrastructure. |
