Renovation of the Alice-Lane library

The infrastructure housing the Alice-Lane library has not undergone any major intervention since 1996. Several problems are real and observable at the infrastructure level. These issues are important and mean that the library absolutely needs to be upgraded in order to be able to continue to offer quality services to the population. Moreover, these issues are detrimental to the living environment that is the library. Intense heat in summer due to lack of air conditioning, water infiltration, heat loss are just a few examples of the problems caused by the poor condition of the building. The project submitted consists of repairing the infrastructure: work on the exterior envelope: exterior cladding, doors and windows, roofing, insulation and waterproofing, flashing and exterior mouldings. interior work: repair of finishes, improvement of ventilation and air conditioning, improvement of lighting
