Description | The project aims to renovate the community center in the northern village of Umiujaq. The community center was built in 1980 and no longer meets the current needs of the population. In addition, the community center is the only public place in Umiujaq where the population can gather and enjoy recreational activities: (ex .: Volleyball, handball, indoor hockey, basketball, badminton, dance, martial arts, roller skating and musical activities. ). The main works are: Renovation of the exterior envelope; Renovation of mechanical devices and the electrical system; Upgrade of the fire alarm system and security measures; Replacement of floors. This project will allow the municipality to offer its population a better quality recreational infrastructure. |
