Renovation of the Joseph-Paré Swimming Pool and Paddling Pool

The project aims to rebuild the swimming pool and paddling pool in Joseph-Paré Park. The following elements will be the subject of work: • demolition of the existing paddling pool; • the demolition of the existing outdoor swimming pool; • construction of a new paddling pool with universal access; • construction of an outdoor swimming pool with universal access; • the connections of the new paddling pool and the new outdoor swimming pool to the existing filtration system located inside the bathers pavilion; • the redevelopment of the outdoor areas in order to connect the aquatic facilities with the bathers pavilion and all the facilities in this sector of the park; and • The redevelopment of the interior of the bathers’ pavilion (upgrading to complete universal accessibility standards, creation of a universal changing room, reorganization of interior spaces, interior finishing work, electricity and plumbing). This project will allow the City of Montreal (Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie borough) to offer its population a better quality recreational infrastructure.
