Renovation of the regional tourist reception building

The Val-d’Or regional tourist welcome building was built more than 25 years ago. The visitor reception area is restricted and the displays are obsolete. The project consists of renovating and modernizing the regional tourist welcome building located in Val-d’Or, specifically: • integrate new technologies with a fixed touch screen to meet the needs of customers and users; • install new fixed displays to enhance tourism, arts and agri-tourism; • develop a new, more spacious reception area for staff, visitors and people with reduced mobility; • securing access to the building for all users (improving signage and making the building accessible to people with reduced mobility); • Improve the exterior appearance of the building to make it more attractive and user-friendly (replacement of exterior cladding and modification of building design).
