Repair and Upgrade of the Cowansville Aquatic Center

The project involves the rehabilitation and upgrading of the aquatic centre for which the Town of Cowansville owns and operates the property. The main work planned is: • Expansion and development of the lobby and vestibule; • Installing a lift • The addition of an extension to bring the recreation department offices closer to the reception area; • The addition of a suitable locker room and renovation of existing changing rooms; • Renovating and improving the pool • The addition of a meeting room and multi-purpose rooms; • Upgrading mechanical equipment (ventilation, heating, air conditioning, etc.); • The development of a glass-enclosed area overlooking the pool on the mezzanine; • Adding a generator • The addition of emergency exits and sprinklers. This project will allow the Town of Cowansville to provide its population with a higher-qualilty recreational infrastructure.
