Repair of stairwells, entrances and interior systems of the Georges-Cabana Pavilion

The project aims to repair the stairwells, entrances and interior systems of the Pavillon Georges-Cabana of l’Université de Sherbrooke in Sherbrooke. The scope of the project includes the correction and carrying out work to avoid the detachment (crumbling) of plasterboard containing asbestos in the stairwells as well as on the 3rd floor of pavilion B (components B1 and B2). Work to improve the ventilation of the attic is required to prevent this type of damage. The project also includes the repair of the dilapidated entrances to the pavilion. The project will support pandemic response and economic recovery, notably by maintaining and upgrading the quality of school infrastructure.
