Description | A study was done in 2016 to find issues in the collection system. A polyvinyl chloride pipe from the sanitary system was found to be compressed causing warpage and bending of pipe and will cause breakage in the pipe in the near future. The pipe will be excavated and repaired. Objective: Replace pipe identified in the closed circuit TV inspection of the collection system on Webster street between manholes VN-S 3 and VN-SA2. Only the collapsed pipe be repaired, not the entire section. Scope: To excavate, remove and replace the section of pipe in question and backfill with appropriate material Output: Replaced pipe, which will increase flow capacity and line integrity. |
