The development objectives of Repairing Essential Logistics Infrastructure and Network Connectivity (RELINC) Project is to provide the means for mitigating the immediate impact that disrupted transport networks have on Ukraine’s population and economy. This project has two components. 1) The first component, Lifeline road connections, has the following sub-components: (i) Modular bridges needed to restore damaged bridge connections; (ii) Materials required for urgent road and artificial structures repairs and winter access; and (iii) Enhancement to western road Border Crossing Points (BCPs) to mitigate impacts of Black Sea disruption. The second component, Lifeline rail connections, has the following sub-components: (i) Flatbed wagon production to increase containerized transport capacity; (ii) Materials, components, and equipment for repair of vital rail lines; (iii) Rolling stock for operational efficiency; and (iv) Materials, equipment, and modular bridges for damaged rail bridge repairs.
