Replacement of 150m of Eleanor Street Watermain - From Phipps Street to Laird Street

The critical upgrade will consist of the replacement of the existing approximately 60 year old 150mm (Cast Iron / Transite) watermain on Eleanor Street from Phipps Street to Laird Street. The proposed watermain will consist of a 200mm polyvinyl chloride watermain approximately 150m in length. The proposed watermain will increase security of supply directly to 8 households and to the overall distribution system for approximately 26 homes. The project would be a continuation of the Town’s on-going objective to identify and replace deteriorating infrastructure prone to breakage and disruption of service.
