Description
Description | The Project consists of replacing the Bridge B35, located on Airport Line, North of County Road 83, in the Municipality of Bluewater, Ontario. The Project scope includes replacing the existing 24.4 m span narrow rigid frame bridge (6.1 m curb to curb width) with a 28.7 m clear span integral abutment bridge. The new bridge will have a roadway width of 10.5 meters. Work will also be done to raise the bridge by approximately 0.5m to maintain vertical alignment. The approaches to the bridge will be re-constructed for a total length of about 500 m and improved to the standards for an 80 km/hr design speed. The Project aims to improve safety, reduce service interruptions, and contribute to a more reliable bridge asset. |
