Description

Description

The replacement of the aged, end-of-life primary digester roof to upgrade of our overall wastewater treatment plant capacity. A new, steel frame fixed roof primary digester will cover a diameter of approximately 13.7 meters and an operating volume of approximately 1,250 cubic meters. The retrofit will keep the anaerobic digester at a steady, warm temperature. This will optimize the stabilization and transfer of combined primary and waste activated sludge from the liquid treatment train to the secondary digester, increasing the average day flow from 3,397 to 7,182 cubic meters/day.
