Replacement of generators (phase 2)

The project consists of replacing the outdated generator at the Hôpital de Gatineau, the installation of which dates to the time of construction in the early 1980s. Two generators will be installed to today’s standards. The project also involves replacing the transfer switch and increasing the capacity of the main electrical entrance. The project will thereby ensure a constant supply of electricity, in the absence of potential outages, which could have a significant impact on health care services. The project will support pandemic response and economic recovery, notably by maintaining and upgrading health infrastructure.
