Description | Removal and upgrade of seven (7) Corrugated Steel Pipe (CSP) culverts and all associated works required. The 375 mm culverts, totaling 378 meters along Plains Road West, are clogged with debris, and have numerous cracks, fractures and breaks. The assets have reached end of useful life, and need to be replaced with pipes that will provide for increased life expectancy. The culverts are located in the boulevard on the north side of the road, and drain into Grindstone Creek in Hidden Valley. Scope of work also includes the reinstatement of concrete road base, including doweling into the existing road base, and temporarily supporting Bell poles that will be directly impacted by the storm sewer replacement. |
