Description
Description | Asphalt shingles on both the pumping station and the alum building have been installed over 15 years ago. The shingles are dried up and constantly being blown off by the wind. We replace them when we become aware that some are missing. Some leaking has been spotted in a few places in the buildings. The pumps inside these buildings are being controlled by some very sensitive and expensive programmable logic controllers (PLC) and other electrical devices. Water could eventually run in one of these panels without our knowledge causing serious damage to our system. For those reasons we want to replace the asphalt shingles with a steel roof. |
