Replacement of Service Vehicles

The project consists of the replacement of 11 service vehicles due to current vehicles being well past their useful life. Specifically, the project includes 1 service truck with a plow, salt spreader and emergency lights, 1 supervisor vehicle and 9 shuttle vans. All vehicles are equipped with radios. The project will provide better on-road maintenance for the conventional and paratransit bust fleet, a supervisor vehicle used for public transit supervision and route safety, and shuttle vehicles used for drivers between routes and to get to hubs to perform their work. The project will improve the quality and safety of existing and future transit system in the Niagara region.
