Description
Description | The project consists of completely replacing the domestic water supply piping system of the building that houses the Centre local de services communautaires (CLSC) and the Centre de soins de longues durées (CHSLD) Donald G. Hodd. Numerous leaks have occurred in the piping system over the past year. The piping and hot water recirculation systems have reached the end of their useful life. The building’s water inlet will be replaced and brought up to standard. The cold water, hot water and recirculated water supply piping systems will be demolished. New water supply lines will be supplied, installed and connected to the basement, ground floor and upstairs of the building. Architectural work will be required (demolition and patching of walls and ceilings) for the passage of the piping. An upgrade will also be conducted to ensure redundancy of the building’s water supply. The project will support pandemic response and economic recovery, notably by maintaining and upgrading health infrastructure. |
