Replacement of the outer casing including metal cladding, insulation, doors and windows

The project aims to replace the outer envelope including the metal cladding, insulation, doors and windows of the Centre de réadaptation en déficience intellectuelle et en troubles du spectre de l’autisme et de réadaptation en déficience physique in Baie-Comeau. The exterior steel siding, windows and exterior doors are returned to their useful lives. Significant signs of deterioration were observed. Demolition work on the metal siding, doors and windows, fascia and soffit is planned. New exterior doors and windows will be supplied and installed. New aluminum siding will be installed, along with the fascia and soffit. The exterior insulation of the building, as well as the new doors and windows will meet the standards and energy efficiency measures in force. The project will support pandemic response and economic recovery, notably by maintaining and upgrading health infrastructure.
