Replacement of the refrigeration piping system and concrete slab - Eastmain

The project aims to demolish and reconstruct the concrete slab and the refrigeration piping system of the arena, which is owned and operated by the Cree Nation of Eastmain. The work includes the following: • Demolish the rink concrete slab and the refrigeration piping within the slab; • Remove all existing boards and board structure around the rink; • Install the new refrigeration piping system; • Connect the new refrigeration piping system to the existing chilling system/pump; • Pour new concrete slab; • Install new board structure around the rink; and, • Install the new boards. This project will allow the Nation to provide better quality recreation infrastructure to its population.
