Replacement of waste water/sewer pipe on Jacques Street up to lagoon site

Smoke tests of our sewer system conducted in October 2016 demonstrated that there are a number of obstructions in the community’s sewage pipes. With old infrastructure, it is possible these pipes have collapsed or that they have filled-in with roots or other materials. Considering the age of the infrastructure [built in 1987], there is more than just a need to clear these pipes, we need to change them altogether. In order to access the damaged pipes, we need to excavate the roadway. Subsequently, we will repair and replace key sections of the pipes throughout the community. Lastly, we will need to repair the roadway and resurface with pavement and gravel
