Description | Biosolids Mixing/Transfer pump was incorrectly designed in original layout. Pump requires replacement to positive displacement pump to mix/haul Biosolids. Due to elevation, the current suction style pump is unable to operate below 50% of Biosolids tank level. Contractor would remove existing suction pump, and replace with same-rated positive displacement pump that can handle the extremely thick biosolids that are hauled via truck for land application. Due to competing priorities, the project has not been identified for completion. The availability of funding now permits the project to begin immediately in 2016/2017 or 2017/2018. |
