Replacement of wastewater, water, storm sewer and road infrastrucutre on Winnipeg Road and Toronto Boulevard in the village of Vanastra with the Municipality of Huron East

The Project involves the replacement of water main, storm and sanitary sewers with the reconstruction of two road sections in the southeast section of Vanastra being Winnipeg Road and Toronto Boulevard. The work description includes the replacement of the existing 200mm sanitary sewer main with new 250 mm in a 160 meter section of Winnipeg Road and 250mm sanitary sewer in 75 meters of Toronto Boulevard along with the replacement of existing private drain connections to the affected properties. The infrastructure replacement also involves replacing the existing 200mm water main and service connections with upgrades to the existing surface drainage within the affected area. The overall plan is to systematically rehabilitate the infrastructure that is plagued with infiltration, cross connections and water main breaks to the residential area.
