Description | Replay is a European fabrique of innovative participatory experiences combining dance, gameplay and digital media, allowing European citizens to share playful performative experiences and replay them. These experiences will unfold on the occasion of the 2024 Olympics in Paris and after. “Replay” explores the rules and mechanisms of the “game” that allows the performance and how they engage participatory audiences to design innovative collective experiences with a high replay value. We aim to allow diverse and mixed audiences to share joyful moments in the public space; also to contribute to social cohesion by mixing diverse audience (ages, genders, cultures,...); and to attract a large audience by designing an innovative “replay value”. Activities : Constitution of creation teams combining artists from different European countries and creation fields. Implementation of a common platform supporting digital interactive media used for mediation and immersion. Creation of inclusive, participatory and playful experiences engaging the body through offscreen interactive media. Broadcasting the performances during events or massive connected experiences. Dissemination through open creation tools, training workshops, publications, conferences and videos. Beneficiaries : 10 choreographers, 10 game-designers, 10 digital artists, 250 culture professionals, young audience (5 000), older audience (5 000), non specific audience (100 000) Expected results : Installing a new format of cultural experience mixing dance, gameplay and digital media. Attracting new audiences to dance. Spreading European culture and values of universalism and freedom, through transnational major events gathering thousands of participants. Type and number of outputs to be produced : 4 “Replay” creations, 50 small events, 5 major events, One major transnational event involving several thousands of participants, One unique mobile app, accessible for all European citizens and targeting 100k users. |
