Repowering at 1000 MVA of the Carabayllo-Chimbote-Trujillo 500 kV Transmission Line PPP Project

The private partner will be responsible for the design, financing, construction, operation and maintenance of the project. At the end of the term of the concession, it will be transferred to the Peruvian State.The term of the concession will be 30 years, plus the construction period, which would be thirty (30) months counted from the closing date.The overall scope of the project entails the repowering to 1000 MVA of the Transmission Line in 500 kV Carabayllo-Chimbote-Trujillo and Variable Reactive Compensator + 400 / -150 MVAR in the Trujillo Nueva Substation 500 kV. Detailed information about the scope of work as follows:Expansion Carabayllo Substation 500 kVA 500 kV series capacitor bank for the Chimbote - Carabayllo line, considering a degree of compensation of the line reactance of 50% in the Carabayllo - Paramonga (future) line segment, of approximately 175 km.Complementary systems: protection systems, control, measurement, communications, grounding, auxiliary services, gantries and bars, civil works, etc.Expansion of Chimbote Substation 500 kVA 500 kV series capacitor bank for the Chimbote - Carabayllo line, considering a degree of compensation of the reactance of 50% in the Chimbote - Paramonga (future) line segment, of approximately 203 km.Complementary systems: protection systems, control, measurement, communications, grounding, auxiliary services, gantries and bars, civil works, etc.Expansion of the TrujilloNuevaSubstation500/220 kVOne (01) cell for the connection of the  EACR (Automatic Reactive Compensation Equipment),  which is equivalent to 2/3 of the diameter of the circuit breaker and half. It should be considered space for a future expansion with another bay next door.One (01) EACR for the control of the voltage in the 500 kV bus of the SE Trujillo Nueva (Connection Point with the SEIN). The regulation range is from 150 MVAr Inductive to 400 MVAr Capacitive, referred to a tension of 1.00 pu of the 500 kV barComplementary systems: protection systems, control, measurement, communications, grounding, auxiliary services, gantries and bars, civil works, etc.
