Research Assistant is a C2C/B2B business proposition seeking to leverage on the increased number of students, authors , researchers and Internet Users in Zambia to provide a one stop shop for access to feld experts that will help generate research for various academic and business uses . Through a research by the Higher Education Authority in 2020, it showed that Zambia had over 114,049 students, these being the main target market. The Research Assistant will provide an online subscription platform via Web or App through which a student can access a tutor from any location at a click of a button and easily fnd experts aligned to their felds that can help them generate research information needed. It will also help researchers easily fnd market. The Business will generate Cash Flows through Monthly/ Quarterly and Year subscription while Research Assistants will be paid a commission per page of research accepted by the customer. The fees collected will be optimally invested in short, medium and long term investments through Money Markets to ensure cash does not sit idly but is used to generate more money to ensure fund availability always for smooth running of the business. More Income will also be made through Ads on the Page. This project is open for an FDI through a joint venture of $150,000 which will facilitate for the development of our Website and App, Ofce set up, acquiring payment gateway , Marketing and promotion during the frst 12 Months in Operations. We plan on engaging 1,000 students in the 1st month at K75($5) Monthly subscription which will result in ZMK75,000($5,000) revenue. Then the project will engage 40,000 students by the 6th Month resulting in K3,000,000($193,548) revenue and an estimated K36,986($2,386) from money market investments.By the 12th Month, it will engage 90,000 resulting in $6,215,000 revenue.This business is at its formative stage, ready to launch upon acquisition of the requisite capital with the main office in lusaka.
