Resilicon Polysilicon Factory

Resilicon, a Dutch startup, is planning to build a polysilicon factory in the Groningen Sea Ports area of northeastern Netherlands. The factory aims to produce ultra-high-purity polysilicon using the Siemens process, targeting 11N or 12N purity levels. The project plans an initial production capacity of around 13 kilotons annually, with potential scaling up to 30,000 metric tons. The factory will use renewable electricity, particularly from offshore wind farms, to support its energy-intensive production process.
