Description

Description

The FC project Resilience Programme for Employment-Intensive Measures is part of the MENA special initiative, which was launched by the BMZ in 2014. The FC funds for this project are being implemented in Yemen through the Social Fund for Development (SFD) and are intended exclusively for labour-intensive infrastructure measures with a wage share of 60%. The aim of the FC measure is to contribute to stabilising Yemen and improving resilience in the current crisis for poor population groups in rural areas of Yemen. By providing poverty-oriented basic infrastructure, the SFD is making a significant contribution to alleviating the consequences of the political crisis and violent conflicts for the target group in Yemen and contributing to economic stabilisation. A financial contribution of EUR 5.0 million is being made available as part of the FC measure.
