Description

Description

The project aims to enhance access to inclusive, high-quality specialist services for women survivors of gender-based violence (GBV), with specific attention to those facing intersectional discrimination—migrant women, women with disabilities, and women in socio-economic hardship. It sets three core objectives: (1) to pilot coordinated, community-based support services in underserved areas; (2) to foster survivors’ long-term empowerment through integrated socio-economic support; (3) to strengthen the capacity of communities and public authorities to deliver sustainable, gender-transformative responses. The workplan includes five work packages. WP1 ensures sound coordination and partnership cohesion. WP2 conducts evidence-based study and capacity building is tailored to reach institutions and communities anchoring for an adaptable, intersectional rural GBV model. Evidence-based focuses on vulnerability index research and capacity building to adapt later tasks to each context with a strong stakeholder engagement plan finalised. WP3 implements pilot services of local support for beneficiaries: at least 3 coordinated specialist centres, 3 mobile help desks services, 3 and personalized empowerment plans will be activated in Italy, Greece, and Spain, offering integrated care and case management. WP4 focuses on promoting institutional engagement and policy dialogue. A policy learning funnel delivers policy briefs (D4.2) and a replicability strategy (D4.3) to foster systemic change and support sustainability, leading to multi-stakeholders International Conference. Through solid and cross-tasks communication plan in WP5, spreading visibility and engagement in the project outcomes, the proposal directly supports the objectives of programme by addressing service gaps for GBV survivors and promoting innovative, intersectional, and rights-based approaches. It contributes empowering women victims of GBV and enabling community-rooted, scalable solutions that leave no one behind.
