Retrofit four buses to address wheelchair restraints on conventional buses
Sector: Government • Location: Ontario, Canada
Source: Infrastructure Canada
Our four buses purchased in 2013 have rear-facing wheelchair restraints. We’ve received complaints about this and it’s been discussed at the Mayor’s Accessibility Committee. We would like to retrofit these four buses to have forward facing restraints to be consistent with the rest of our fleet. This will improve the service offered on these four buses to our riders with mobility issues.
