Description | The 704-MW Revolution Wind project is a 50/50 joint venture between Ørsted and Global Infrastructure Partners’ Skyborn Renewables. It has 20-year power purchase agreements to provide 400 MW of generation to Rhode Island and 304 MW to Connecticut. The project was ordered to suspend all activities on the outer continental shelf for 90 days by the Department of the Interior’s Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM), with the right to extend the suspension. It had previously received a stop-work order in August but resumed construction in September after a court injunction. |
