Description	Revolution Wind is an offshore wind energy facility located off the coast of Rhode Island, expected to deliver 704 megawatts of clean, renewable energy to power 350,000 homes in New England starting in 2026. The project is approximately 80% complete, with 45 of 65 turbines installed, foundations and cabling largely done, and 90% of the onshore facility at Quonset completed. It aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and save ratepayers hundreds of millions of dollars over 20 years. The project has been halted by a stop-work order issued by the Bureau of Ocean and Energy Management (BOEM) on August 22, 2025, which is being legally challenged by the Attorneys General of Rhode Island and Connecticut.
