Richmond - Thompson Community Centre & Hall Infrastructure Renewals

The project will replace numerous heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) related equipment at the Thompson Community Centre and Hall in Richmond, to better handle the increased fresh air intake load and mitigate the amount of recycled air throughout the facility. Mechanical replacement will also include the installation of a UV disinfection system, as well as washroom fixture replacements and drinking fountains to reduce touch points and reduce potential spread of COVID019. This public facility is a long standing and vital part of the Thompson area within Richmond that provides recreational and community connection opportunities. This project is needed to support essential infrastructure renewals, which were identified and determined through their asset management planning process. The project works include: -fixtures, drinking fountains and washroom renovations; -exterior stairs and lighting; -installation of UV filtrations/sanitization works; and -electrical, mechanical and HVAC renewals with associated works; and, -related works.
