Description
Description | Riga International Film festival was launched in 2014 – the year Riga became the European capital of culture – alongside the European Film Awards. RIGA IFF has developed a comprehensive programme structure that paints a wholesome picture of the most daring and important European cinema today. Altogether during the festival films will be screened both in “Splendid Palace” and National Library of Latvia as well as online, which will allow our audience to watch films and meet the filmmakers from their homes. Representatives of the films will be invited to record Q&A sessions with our curators before the festival, and these conversations will be available to watch before the screenings. |
