Description
Description | Grant Media 2023 In 2022, we released 3 non-national European films with contrasting results. 2 films did not find their audience. They are arthouse titles - this type of film would have attracted audiences before the pandemic and now it seems complicated. The spanish film COMPETENCIA OFICIAL found its audience but not at the expected level: it was a Spanish film with two international spanish native stars - the result is decent for a Spanish film but not for a film with such stars. We are looking for an european A title yet, but to keep or developp audience of europeans movies, we have to pay more and more expensive MG and to make massive investments in the release costs. It the reason such a grant is absolutely necessary to allow to the european titles to exist in our local market |
