Description | This project is part of the federal government road concession program. The concession was granted to CONCER - Companhia de Concessao Rodoviaria Juiz de Fora - Rio. CONCER was controlled by Odebrecht (33.3%), which has as partners Triunfo (25.8%) and Construcap (14%), among others. The investment of US$ 760 million will be applied as follows: US$ 300 million for construction works and US$ 460 million for maintenance. Financing has been achieved with a US$ 128.7 million loan from the BNDES (Brazilian federal government development bank) and with the sponsor's own resources. The total investment until December 1997 had been US$ 106 million, while the forecasted was US$ 174 million. The estimated average daily traffic is 15,000 vehicles. As of December 2003, CONCER was controlled by Construtora Triunfo SA, Construcap CCPS Engenharia e Comercio SA, Construtora Metropolitana SA and CCI Concessoes SA. In May 2015, BNDES provided an additional financing of US$ 125.9 million (BRL 420 million) to the project. The annual investments undertaken by CRT, year by year, were: 1996 – US$ 32.3 million (R$ 33.6 million) 1997 – US$ 32.3 million (R$ 34.6 million) 1998 – US$ 66.6 million (R$ 77.3 million) 1999 – US$ 37.1 million (R$ 67.3 million) 2000 – US$ 31 million (R$ 56.9 million) |
