Description | NextDecade's Rio Grande LNG project in Brownsville, Texas, is expanding its liquefaction capacity with the addition of Train 4 and Train 5. Honeywell has been hired to provide liquefaction process technology and equipment, including high-efficiency coil-wound heat exchanger equipment and C3MR process technology, through an agreement with EPC contractor Bechtel Energy. The expansion will increase LNG production capacity from 18 mtpa to 30 mtpa, with all five trains expected to be operational by mid-2031. |
