RISE - Resilience - Inclusion - Support - Empowerment establishes specialized support centres in Germany (Dresden) and Spain (Valladolid) where migrant women who are victims of gender-based and domestic violence can receive low-threshold counseling and access safe spaces to foster self-assertion and empowerment. Access to affected women will be facilitated through existing gender- and migration-sensitive structures among the three project partners: Ausländerrat Dresden e.V., Sächsischer Flüchtlingsrat e.V. and Fundación Red Incola. In addition to the support services, the project includes comprehensive training programs for both professionals and community volunteers, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to effectively support migrant women. The support centers will be located in major cities and will also implement mobile counseling services to reach rural areas, ensuring that all women have access to the help they need. Ultimately, RISE aims to create an impact across Europe by developing best practices that can be adapted and implemented in other contexts facing similar challenges.
