This project will repair the River Mountain Loop Trail in Lake Mead National Recreation Area. Due to the high temperatures of the environment, the asphalt has cracked to relieve shrinking. These stretches of the trail not only reduce accessibility, but also creates the possibility of injuries as the wide cracks (some up to 8 inches wide) are hazardous to bikers, pedestrians, and equestrians.
