Riverfront Museum District and Park of Arts & Culture

completed

A new Museum District and Park of Arts & Culture in Podgorica, Montenegro designed by a-fact architecture factory. The project consolidates cultural institutions within a landscape that strengthens the link between the city and the Morača River. It includes the Museum of Contemporary Art, the Natural History Museum, and the House of Architecture arranged within a public park that extends cultural life beyond enclosed galleries. The design features three sculptural volumes clad in stone, green roofs merging with the landscape, and a blue-green infrastructure approach to preserve and introduce trees and shrubs, enhancing biodiversity and ecological continuity.
