River's Edge Trail Reroute Project

The project involves rerouting the River's Edge Trail along River Drive South in Great Falls to eliminate a convoluted and dangerous jog behind the police department and water park, crossing two active rail lines. It includes about 2,200 feet of shared use trail for bicycles and pedestrians adjacent to the Missouri River, with portions extending into the river supported by a river wall. The project also involves shifting a portion of River Drive South to accommodate the new trail alignment and improve safety and navigation.
