Riverview - Infrastructure Renewal

This project involves replacing existing water, storm and wastewater systems in the Town of Riverview, New Brunswick. The existing infrastructure is at the end-of-life and in need of replacement. Additionally, some of the streets have deteriorated beyond resurfacing, with the street sub-base being deteriorated to sand and mud leaving very little opportunity for proper drainage. The scope of the project involves renewing select existing pipes that are in need of replacement on various streets: - Renewing 8,736m of watermain piping - Renewing 4,335m of sanitary sewer mains - Renewing 2,233m of stormwater sewer mains - Reinstating 2.49 km of road infrastructure affected by the trenching work, with granular, asphalt, and landscaping. This project will renew the town’s water, storm and wastewater systems to meet their needs now and into the future. It will result in increased access to potable water, increased capacity to manage wastewater and storm water, and improved road infrastructure.
