The overall objective is the revitalisation, both social and economic, of a fragile cross-border territory, hit by atmospheric events that have devastated its landscape, its infrastructure and damaged the entire socio-economic context. With a tourism proposal focused on the slow and sustainable discovery of the territory, the project aims to systematise a rich heritage composed of itineraries, landscapes and products of excellence, with the aim of maximising the economic benefits and contributing to the improvement of the quality of life of communities made even more marginal by the territorial fragmentation that has been created. The project proposal sets out a strategy to reposition the border area on the European stage, through a renewed and contemporary narrative, inclusive and participatory, capable of guaranteeing future generations a concrete opportunity for development that will allow them to stay in the territories and invest new energy in them.
