Description | The project involves a long-term senior loan of up to EUR 50 million to Volyn West Wind-2 LLC and Volyn West Wind-3 LLC (jointly referred to as the "Borrowers" or the "Client"), special purpose vehicles incorporated in Ukraine. The loan will be a part of a senior secured debt financing to be provided by a consortium of development financial institutions including the EBRD, IFC, BSTDB (together, the "Lenders"), to finance the construction and operation of a 189 MW wind power plant ("WPP") in Ukraine (the "Project"). The Project will benefit from a guarantee and technical assistance ("TA") funds under the EU's Ukraine Investment Framework ("UIF") Hi-Bar programme. The Borrowers are majority-owned by VI.AN Holding, which forms part of OKKO Group AG ("OKKO Group"). |
