RISE II – Road to Inclusion and Solidarity in Europe is an ESC project by Associazione Joint. It promotes inclusion, solidarity, and sustainability through short-term volunteering teams in high-priority areas. It engages 85 young volunteers, with at least 70% facing fewer opportunities and 20% classified as highly vulnerable, including refugees and individuals with disabilities. The project fosters social inclusion, community engagement, and environmental awareness. It educates volunteers and local communities on waste management, sustainability, and recycling, while also supporting organizations in developing inclusive ESC initiatives. It strengthens the Joint International Network, enhancing cooperation between European organizations. By empowering youth through hands-on volunteering, RISE II increases confidence, skills, and employability. It encourages civic engagement, particularly in rural and marginalized areas. The project also creates operational guides to improve inclusion and sustainability in ESC programs. Expected outcomes include increased social participation, reduced exclusion, and stronger local and European networks. It supports disadvantaged youth while promoting EU solidarity and sustainability, aligning with broader European strategies for inclusion and environmental responsibility.
