Description | The project involves the upgrade of existing IT infrastructure of the Land Transportation and Franchising Regulatory Board (LTFRB), including: (a) computerization of its manual processes; (b) development of an online database of franchise information; (c) data migration; and (d) procurement, installation, operations and management of IT hardware equipment, software and network development. The project aims to deliver a transparent and efficient registration and franchising system through streamlining of the LTFRB's current processes, automation, and modernization of its existing client services IT infrastructure through a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) scheme. The proposed concession period is 15 years, a including 1.5 years for installation and application development. |
